The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) is the national association representing employers’ payroll interests since 1978. We are dedicated to raising the profile of the payroll community and helping payroll professionals advance their careers. Over 12,000 organizations and professionals remain knowledgeable and compliant as a result of CPA membership.
Canada’s 1.4 million employers annually pay $660 billion in wages and salaries, $220 billion in remittances to CRA, $77 billion in health and retirement benefits and 30 million T4’s. Employers count on payroll professionals to pay accurately and on time, all while complying with over 185 federal and provincial legislative acts.
Payroll compliance is a key component of business risk management. CPA members stay ahead of issues, trends, compliance and legislation with members-only access to valuable resources, including DIALOGUE magazine, the CPA E-Source newsletter and legislative updates, JobConnect, free expert advice from Payroll InfoLine, online course and seminar registration, and much more!
The CPA holds more than 450 Professional Development Series seminars and workshops across Canada each year that address key payroll topics. In particular, the 2007 Year-end and New Year Requirements seminar helps participants win the year end reporting race and get a head start on the New Year requirements. Participants gain a thorough understanding of existing payroll legislation and practices to ensure their organization’s 2007 payroll is accurate, and can look ahead to expectations for 2008 and beyond.
To ensure your organization’s year end reporting is accurate and meets legislative requirements, register for the 2007 Year-end and New Year Requirements seminar. Pre-registration is required.
